The Gospel Train

Written for my father, Ken Pledger, for his 76th Birthday. It is in remembrance of his mother, Ellen Mae (Kilgore) Pledger, who was brought by an old steam-engine train back to Arkansas in 1914 to where she was raised by the Kilgores and Blanscets to know and love God. Her investment in my dad and his siblings for the gospel is still being felt today 110 years after Baby Mae rode the "gospel train" to the Altus.
